Bernadette and Philip Smith graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Oklahoma in 1995 and moved to the Grand Rapids area to pioneer Eternal Word Church. 

Bernadette's passion is to see God's children totally set free, by the power of God, in every area of their lives.  She has ministered at many conferences and retreats. In her meetings she has seen the Holy Spirit show up and heal people of terminal disease in their bodies and in their mind.

Philip has been commissioned by God to go and teach God’s people faith and to reach the lost, teaching men and women to fulfill their highest and best.

The couple have 8 children and a much-loved stepmother living with them.

Bernadette and Philip Smith have been called by God to teach His Word and win the lost.  Preaching the Kingdom of God, the Smiths have helped men and women of God reach their highest and best.  Their goal is to transform every area of our communities for Christ - family, government, business, media, art, entertainment, science and technology.  Come and learn how you too can be transformed by Christ.

Thumb Christian Outreach Ministries invites you to a day filled with praise, excellent teaching, fine food and fellowship.  Bernadette and Philip will be teaching on the “Principles of the Kingdom of God,” based on Romans 4:13 and Romans 8:17.
